Unto the Outlands College of Heralds, the esteemed submitters, and all others who come by these letters, on this 27th day of December 2006, A.S. XL, does Furukusu Masahide, Rampart Herald, send greetings.

The following items were sent on to Laurel for final determination:

1. Anna Katherine von Telgte. New Name and New Device. Vert, a bear rampant between three mullets argent.
2. Heinricus Landœse. New Device. Sable, in pale two swords inverted in saltire proper and a stag couchant argent.
   Blazon changed from {Sable, in pale two swords in saltire and a stag couchant argent} to {Sable, in pale two swords inverted in saltire proper and a stag couchant argent} to account for the orientation and tincture of the swords.

The following items were returned for further work:

1. Tiberius Acilius Brutus. Device resubmission. Gules, a natural leopard couchant guardant, in chief two gladius swords crossed, Or.

   The name was registered in March 2006. On that same LoAR, the previously submitted device, Gules, in fess a natural leopard couchant guardant between two Ionic columns Or, was returned: "This is returned for conflict with Randall of Willowrock, {Gules, in fess a mullet inverted between two Doric columns argent}, reblazoned elsewhere in this letter. There is a CD for changing the tincture of the primary charges, but no difference for changing the type only of one of three charges in fess."

   Blazon should be changed to {Gules, in pale two gladii crossed in saltire at the tips Or and a natural leopard couchant gardant Or spotted sable} to account for the co-primary nature of the charges.
   Commenters found no conflict with this current device submission.

   The device was submitted on forms that are no longer accepted after September 1, 2006. Per Administrative Handbook IV.C.1 - Submission Forms - states that all submissions must be made on appropriate forms. Please resubmit this item on the current device submission forms. They can be located at http://rampart.outlandsheralds.org, or from your local branch herald.
   Device returned for improper forms.
