Unto Meister Andreas von Meißen, White Stag Principal Herald, and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of the Outlands, does THL Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald, send her greetings.
What follows is the Letter of Response for August 2025 CE, ruling on the July 2025 Letter of Presentation (https://oscar.sca.org/index.php?action=100&loi=9421).
I would like to thank all of the heralds who were kind enough to provided commentary.

The following items were RETURNED for further work:

Feilan Ulfsdottir - New Name & New Device. Per pall inverted purpure, sable, and argent, two wolves combatant regardant argent, three drinking horns fretted in triangle sable
The name is returned for a rework as documentation for 'Feilan' does not show it as a given name. Commentors provided many other documented given name variants of 'Feilan' so please see the July 2025 Letter of Presentation commentary for more (the link is above). The device is primarily returned for a lack of name to go up with it. However, commentary did discuss the possibility of a unity of posture issue between the drinking horns and the wolves. Kingdom believes that this paticular orientation of horns [drinking or otherwise] versus the UoP ruling is something for Laurel to make decision on, not Kingdom.
