Unto Meister Andreas von Meißen, White Stag Principal Herald, and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of the Outlands, does THL Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald, send her greetings.
What follows is the Letter of Response for June 2025 CE, ruling on the May 2025 Letter of Presentation (https://oscar.sca.org/index.php?action=100&loi=9338).
I would like to thank all of the heralds who were kind enough to provided commentary.

The following items were RETURNED for further work:

Levi mac Bakere - New Name Change From Holding Name.
Returned for a rework. It looks like the submitter is after the pattern: [single given name] mac [father's given name in genitive case & sometimes lenited]. [Bakere] is a surname, not a given name, so we can't have [mac Bakere]. Even if it could, Gaelic [mac] cannot be combined with English [Bakere] in the same name phrase. SENA PN.1.B.1 (https://heraldry.sca.org/sena.html#PN1B1) states: "A registerable name phrase must follow the rules of grammar and structure for a single time and place. It may not mix languages unless that mixing of languages within a name phrase is attested as a period practice." Commentors suggested adding a locative to [Levi Bakere] ie 'Levi Bakere atte Barre' is "Levi Bakere who lives by a town or castle gate" , or 'le Bakere' to create "the Baker' [Per SENA PN.3.C.2 (https://heraldry.sca.org/sena.html#PN3C2), "The addition or removal of a syllable makes two names substantially different in sound."], or choosing a different surname with the same meaning.
Savannah inghean Uí Bakere - New Name Change From Holding Name.
Returned for a rework. It looks like the submitter is after the pattern: [single given name] inghean Uí [eponymous clan ancestor's name (in genitive case & always lenited unless starting with a vowel)]. [Bakere] is a surname, not a given name, so we can't have [inghean Uí Bakere]. Even if it could, Gaelic [inghean Uí] cannot be combined with English [Bakere] in the same name phrase. SENA PN.1.B.1 (https://heraldry.sca.org/sena.html#PN1B1) states: "A registerable name phrase must follow the rules of grammar and structure for a single time and place. It may not mix languages unless that mixing of languages within a name phrase is attested as a period practice." Commentors suggested adding a locative to [Savannah Bakere] ie 'Savannah Bakere atte Barre' is "Savannah Bakere who lives by a town or castle gate" , or 'le Bakere' to create "the Baker' [Per SENA PN.3.C.2 (https://heraldry.sca.org/sena.html#PN3C2), "The addition or removal of a syllable makes two names substantially different in sound."], or choosing a different surname with the same meaning.
