Unto Hlaford Æðeluulf munc, White Stag Principal Herald, and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of the Outlands, does THL Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald, send her greetings.
What follows is the Letter of Response for June 2023 CE, ruling on the May 2023 Letter of Presentation (https://oscar.sca.org/index.php?action=100&loi=8144).
I would like to thank all of the heralds who were kind enough to provided commentary.

The following items were RETURNED for further work:

Ástríðr Ylfva - New Device. Or, on a pale azure, two cats couchant to sinister argent
Device returned for a rework due to the following issues - a pale should only use 1/3 of the field, the cats' posture is not couchant nor is it an easily identifiable other posture, and emblazons need to use standard heraldic depictions of creatures without stylization especially without loopwork. Stylized creatures are fine for display, etc. but not for registration.

The following items were PENDED by Gold Castle Herald:
