    Unto Randal Carrick, White Stag Principal Herald, and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of the Outlands, does Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald, send her greetings.

    What follows is the Letter of Response for December 2014 CE, ruling on the November 2014 Letter of Presentation (http://oscar.sca.org/index.php?action=100&loi=2945).

    I would like to thank all of the heralds who were kind enough to provided commentary.

    The following items were RETURNED for further work:

    • Gideon Dubh Mac AnBhaird New Device. Per pale sable and argent, a tree blasted atop a human skull counterchanged

    • Gillian Godfrey New Device. Per pale gules and azure, a stag's skull cabossed
      • Returned for multiple conflicts as there is no difference between a stag's head and a stag's skull per the February 2002 LoAR via Kunrad Eisenhart (http://heraldry.sca.org/loar/2002/02/02-02lar.html).     • Logan of Logan New Device. Sable, a sinister hand apaumy argent between three bezants one and two
      • Returned for a conflict with Jendriska Bellasez (07/1986via the Middle): Sable, a dexter hand apaumy couped argent between three bezants one and two and a base wavy Or.     • Belatumara filia Disideri Name Resubmission & Device Resubmission. Per saltire vert and sable, four triquetras conjoined crosswise argent
      • Name and device are pended until next month so issues with both items can be addressed with the submitter.
