    Unto Randal Carrick, White Stag Principal Herald, and the College of Heralds of the Kingdom of the Outlands, does Khalidah bint Yahya'a, Rampart Herald, send her greetings.

    What follows is the Letter of Response for August 2014 CE, ruling on the July 2014 Letter of Presentation.

    I would like to thank all of the heralds who were kind enough to provided commentary.

    The following items were RETURNED for further work:

    • Abigail MacNaught New Device. Gyronny sable and argent, a phoenix head to sinister gules issuant from flames proper
      • Returned for conflicts with Morgan Morfydd Gwilym, registered in October of 1982 (via the Middle): Pean, a phoenix displayed gules, issuant from flames, maintaining in its beak a dexter hand couped proper. There is one difference for the background but none for the maintained charge.
    • Gillian Elizabeth Dawnser New Device. Vert a cherry tree eradicated Or, overall on a fess purpure fimbriated three goats courant contourny Or
      • Returned for a redraw. It runs afoul of SENA A3C: "Peripheral ordinaries may not be voided or fimbriated, nor may other secondary, tertiary, or overall charges." As the fess is overall, it cannot be fimbriated.
    • Meliora de Berkeley Device Resubmission. Per chevron azure and purpure, a chevron argent between an incresent and a decresent Or, and a winged fox sejeant argent
      • Returned for a conflict with Anna Zen, registered August of 2007 (via the West): Per chevron azure and purpure, a chevron argent between two bears sejant erect respectant Or and a peach tree couped argent fructed Or. There is only one difference for changing the type of the secondary (A.5.G.4). Unfortunately, since the device follows the same color configuration, there is no second difference.

    • Gianina The Wanderer - New Name & New Device. Per fess gules and sable, a dance argent between two scimitars fesswise Or

    • Ildaria de Zaragozza - New Badge. (Fieldless) On a cup purpure a rabbit couchant argent
    • Jacob Fauvell - New Name & New Device. Per saltire gules and sable, a spider and a bordure embattled Or
    • Magdalena Lucia Ramberti - New Badge. (Fieldless) A Saint Mark lion sejant, dexter forepaw raised Or
    • Ragnarr Haraldsson - New Name & New Device. Per fess embattled Or and vert, a fox salient gules and a quatrefoil slipped Or
    • Ruadrí Mac Batín - New Name & New Device. Argent, in fess a brown cock crowing to sinister wings elevated and a stein gules, a chief dovetailed vert
    • Rúnólfr inn rosti - New Name & New Device. Per fess wavy vert and sable, in pale a wolf statant and two Danish axes in saltire argent
    • Sabine Bruneau - New Name Change. Old Item, Savina la Brune, to be retained as an alternate.
    • Þórunn farkona - Device Resubmission. Per fess gules and azure, three triquetrae one and two Or and a flame proper, a bordure argent
