![]() 2: Beatrice de Craie - New Device OSCAR finds the name registered exactly as it appears in January of 2009, via the Outlands. Sable two chevrons rompu ermine
The submitter's name was registered in January 2009, via the Outlands (http://heraldry.sca.org/loar/2009/01/09-01lar.html). The submitter's previous device, Chevronelly sable and ermine, was returned on the Outlands September 2008 LoR due to conflict (http://rampart.outlandsheralds.org/2008-08-lop/0809-lor.html) This submission is a re-design of the first. Several commenters debated whether the chevrons chould be blazoned as "conjoined" for reproducibility, given that they touch at two points. However, the blazon was not changed at Kingdom, since the provided blazon adequately describes the embalzon, and appears to be the submitter's preference. No conflicts found at Kingdom. |
