1. Anne Aliz de Bâle. New Badge. (Fieldless) On a cinquefoil azure five fleurs-de-lys bases to center argent.

Her name was registered in December of 1997 via the Outlands. If this badge is registered she would like her old badge registered in May of 1999 via the Outlands, "(Fieldless) On a cinquefoil Or five fleurs-de-lys bases to center purpure." to be released.
2. Anne Aliz de Bâle. New Badge. (Fieldless) A swan naiant argent semy-de-lys azure.


3. Jeanne-Marie Dubois. New Device. Erminois, a chevron azure between three roses proper.

Her name is currently in submission on the March 2002 Outlands Letter of Intent. It will be reviewed by Laurel in July, before this device passes kingdom. The hyphen will likely be dropped from the name.
4. Mara Fae. New Name and Device. Per chevron ployé sable and gules, a chevron ployé between a butterfly and a cloud issuant from base Or charged with a compass rose sable.

"Mara" is the client's legal name. A copy of her birth certificate was provided. As documentation for "Fae", the client provides photocopies from The Gypsies by Angus Fraser, Blackwell Publishers Ltd, 1992, page 114. "When Paul Fa or Faa was given 15 days to get out in 1537, it was because he was accused of having murdered another Gypsy. The is the first occurence of the name Faa or Faw, which was to become very familiar in Scotland: that Gypsy Faas were already known there is shown by the fact that when, in 1539, a George Fae and Michael Meche were examined by the Sheriff of Staffordshire, they were found to possess a variety of letters, including one from the King of Scots and a bill from the Abbot of Holyrood." In Black, Surnames of Scotland, page 250 under the heading Faa, Faw, Fall he writes "Three spellings of one name. Faa is or was a common surname among the Border gypsies (Groome, Gazetteer, I, p. 408), and Faw was the spelling of their name in Shetland (MCM., II, p. 164). Dr. Fae or Falle was principal of Glasgow University in latter quarter of seventeenth century (RPC., 3. ser. XII, p. 522)." That is past our gray area of 1650, but hopefully the client's documentation will be found acceptable to date it to 1539 even though the author does not say what reference he used for that information.
5. Pendar the Bard. Change of registered Device. Per chevron ployé Or and azure, a demi-fleur issuant from the line of division azure.

His name and device were registered in July of 1998 via the Outlands. His current device, "Azure, a musimon rampant argent armed, on a chief triangular Or a lyre sable." is to be released if this new device is registered. This new device is based on a device found in the Codex Manesse, a roll of arms created in Alsace between 1300 and approximately 1330 for notable Zurichois. This codex is the most complete collection of works of Minnesänger of the 13th century. The collection was gathered by Rüdiger and Johannes Manesse who extracted them from various small collections. 6. Ruairidh Alasdair Mhic Leòid. Device. Or, on a chevron sable three pheons Or, overall a double tressure gules.

His name was registered in November of 1993 via the Outlands.
